Cast is a signage and environmental graphics studio based in Singapore. We work exclusively with architects, interior designers, and brand directors who treat the sign as part of the architecture. Every commission begins with a site visit. Every piece is fabricated in-house at our workshop in Kallang. The studio takes ten projects a year and maintains a six-month lead time.
The material is the brief.
Cast works in brass, powder-coated aluminium, stainless steel, and cast acrylic. Every material specification is confirmed on-site against the light conditions of the actual space. No substitutions are made after the sample is approved.

Process
Fabrication begins after drawings are approved, materials are sampled in context, and lead time is confirmed with the client. The studio does not take rush jobs. Every piece leaves the workshop once, correctly.
Nicholas Ang
Founder, Cast
Nicholas trained as an architect at WOHA for nine years before founding Cast in 2017. He started the studio after watching a wayfinding system he had designed get handed to a volume signage shop and value-engineered into something unrecognisable. Cast began as a one-man workshop in Toa Payoh. It now operates from a 4,000 sq ft fabrication space in Kallang with a team of six.
