Unhurried precision.
Book a consultation →Most dental practices are optimised for throughput. Appointments run to thirty minutes by design — long enough to complete a procedure, not long enough to explain it. umber was built around the opposite principle. Every appointment is scheduled for ninety minutes. The extra time is not billable. It is the point.
Dr. Loh trained at King's College London and spent six years at the National Dental Centre Singapore before opening this practice. She built umber around a simple principle: see fewer patients, spend more time with each one, and never rush a procedure to fit a schedule.
All fees are confirmed in writing before any treatment begins. There are no surprises.
BDS (Hons) King's College London · FAMS (Dental Surgery) · National Dental Centre Singapore 2013–2019
Vivian qualified with honours from King's College London in 2010 and completed her fellowship training at the National Dental Centre Singapore, where she focused on complex restorative cases and full-mouth rehabilitation. She opened umber in 2019 after a decade of practising in high-volume hospital settings — the experience that convinced her a smaller, slower practice would produce better outcomes for both patients and clinician.
She is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore and a member of the Singapore Dental Association. umber is a single-dentist practice. It will remain one.
