Coworking is a competitive search category in Singapore. Coworking space singapore is searched about 2,400 times a month, and clicks on serviced office searches cost advertisers around S$24 each, so ranking organically is worth a great deal. Large global operators and listing sites dominate the first page, and a local operator needs a technically sound site and strong location pages to compete.
This operator ran three coworking centres and had redesigned its website a year earlier. Since then organic traffic had drifted down to about 2,300 visitors a month. The new site loaded slowly on mobile, its location pages were thin and nearly identical, and none of its three centres appeared in the top three map results for coworking searches nearby. Organic search brought in about 9 tour bookings a month.
| Metric | Month 0 |
|---|---|
| Monthly organic visitors | 2,300 |
| Keywords ranking on Page 1 | 18 |
| Tour bookings from organic search per month | 9 |
| Technical SEO issues | 412 |
| Mobile PageSpeed score | 38 |
| Centres in the local map top 3 | 0 of 3 |
We crawled the whole site, reviewed Search Console and analytics, compared it with competitors ranking above it and listed 412 technical issues, ranked by how much each was likely to hurt traffic.
Ranking the issues by impact meant the team fixed the problems that mattered first, instead of working through a long list from top to bottom. The competitor comparison also showed which page types were ranking for coworking searches, which shaped the plan for the location pages.
We fixed broken redirects left over from the redesign, removed duplicate pages, repaired canonical tags, compressed images and cut unused scripts, raising mobile PageSpeed from 38 to 84.
The redesign had quietly broken old URLs and slowed the site down. Fixing them restored pages Google had stopped trusting. Fixing the redirects also recovered rankings for older pages that still had links from other websites.
We rebuilt each centre's page with unique content: photos, nearby MRT stations, amenities, plans and prices for hot desks, dedicated desks and private offices, and a tour booking form.
Thin, near-identical location pages gave Google no reason to rank any of them. Unique, useful pages matched what people search for each neighbourhood. Clear pricing on each page also filtered out enquiries from people looking for something the centres did not offer.
We optimised each centre's Google Business Profile with the right categories, photos and booking links, and set up a review request for members after their first month.
Most people looking for a coworking space nearby choose from the map results. Complete profiles and steady reviews moved all three centres into the top three. Replies to reviews also showed prospective members that the team was responsive, which mattered for a service people use every day.
We published guides comparing hot desks, dedicated desks and serviced offices, linked them to the location pages and set up monthly monitoring to catch new technical issues early.
Comparison guides attracted people still deciding what they needed and sent them to the right centre once they were ready. Monthly monitoring also caught issues introduced by new pages before they could hurt rankings.
Six months in, organic visitors had grown from 2,300 to 6,100 a month and 74 keywords ranked on Page 1, up from 18. All three centres appeared in the top three map results for coworking searches nearby. Tour bookings from organic search tripled from 9 to 27 a month, and technical issues fell from 412 to 23. With serviced office clicks costing around S$24 in paid search, the organic gains saved the operator a meaningful amount of ad spend each month.

412 issues found, the most damaging fixed first and mobile speed restored.
Unique centre pages and optimised profiles took tour bookings past 18 a month.
27 organic tour bookings a month and all three centres in the map top 3.
This site lost traffic quietly after a redesign broke redirects and slowed pages down. An audit soon after launch would have caught the damage in weeks, not a year.
Near-identical centre pages gave Google no reason to rank any of them. Real photos, transport details and prices for each centre turned them into pages worth ranking.
Not all 412 issues were equal. Ranking them by impact meant the fixes that moved traffic happened in the first two months.
